To blog, or not to blog February 1, 2022 on Ross Wilson's blog

I am not a big writer.

I do enjoy writing but I don’t do it often. I’ve never done it professionally, other than documents and emails, which I don’t think counts. But it’s something I would like to do more of.

A while ago I signed up for Obsidian’s hosting service, but that’s for something more of an online ‘second brain’, at least that’s where I’m going with it. I’d like to write in a more personal style with a bit less focus on learning, which is why this blog is here.

After a look around, I settled on Mataroa for hosting. I am too easily consumed by frills to go with anything other than this sort of bare-bones minimalism and less than 10 EUR per year is unbeatable.

Let’s see how long I can keep it up for.
